Hi Heather! I happened to have a Micron pen sitting on my desk while I was listening to this episode, so I tested it out on a piece of painted wood. Even after I'd let it sit for a few minutes to dry, it was still pretty easy to smudge it with my finger.
Do you think a fine tipped paint pen would work? If you're working on a surface that's at got a glossy, or maybe even semi-glossy finish and you keep a q-tip and some rubbing alcohol nearby while you're working, you have a little bit of time to fix mistakes, but it'll be pretty durable once the paint dries.
