For you!

A real Victorian Scholar!

Less Charlotte Brontë and more Elizabeth Gaskell (I see more of her in our future) and general Victorian info, I still think you'll enjoy the convo with Larry Uffelman. Some light listening for your weekend errand running.

Tenant is HIGH ON THE LIST! I can't do more back to back Brontë without rebellions fomenting, but I will get to it. And some Gaskell, too!

Interesting interview! I'm a fan of Mrs. Gaskell's work and enjoyed the movie versions of North & South (Richard Armitage - swoon!), Cranford and Wives & Daughters. Haven't read Ruth yet but just found it for Kindle for free! Next on my reading list now. BTW, You mentioned Anne Bronte's Tenant of Wildfell Hall - would love to listen to that book on CraftLit! Anne is a better writer than Emily in my opinion. (Charlotte is the best!)
